MoCheeks.com is an accumulation of thoughts, meant to inspire others to re-imagine the world around them and consider how they might impact it. Topics discussed here are likely to include Business, Leadership, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurialism, the Internet, and Education. Overarching themes woven into the discussion are subject to include philanthropy, personality psychology, spirituality, and even world news. 

The articles, ideas, and tips you’ll find here are the results of the insights gained from my love for learning. With my frequent travel time I listen to heaps of podcasts and audiobooks, complimented by many books, blogs and magazines. It has been a long time coming, but from now on you can be the beneficiary of my abundant consumption of knowledge.

Who is Mo Cheeks?

Maurice (Mo) Cheeks is the author of this blog. 

I have been blogging and/or creating web content on a wide variety of subjects, both independently and for use as corporate marketing, for over 6 years. 

Besides traveling and reading, I have a job that I enjoy at a rather innovative Fortunate 100 tech company. 

In this blog I write about the things that I do because they are passions of mine. I am also interested in cycling, design, dreaming, gaming, geocaching, music, technology, and travel. 

Too often I tease myself with the idea of entering an MBA program and going back to school for a bit… yet I seem a ways off from being able to convince myself of that. 

I grew up just outside of Chicago, attended university in the middle of Illinois, lived in Richmond, Virginia for a spell, and currently reside in Madison, Wisconsin.
