Harvard Business IdeaCast 102: What Kind of Leader WIll You Be? (Bill Taylor)
- Why should great people want to work with you?
- We essentially live in a volunteer work force.
- Most really good people have options.
- What are the reasons that the best people at your company want to work for you?
- Do you know a great person when you see one?
- Most people are getting over credentials and experience.
- The real question is: Does what makes you tick, mesh with what makes our company tick?
- Great leaders are great recruiters.
- Talented individuals (probably) already have good jobs, getting paid well, that they feel good about.
- Make the case that what you are doing is more compelling than what they are already doing.
